Roger Williams University
Commonly known in Rhode Island as RWU, Roger Williams University is a private liberal arts university located in Bristol near Seekonk and Warwick. Founded in 1956, it is named for the theologian and co-founder of Rhode Island, Roger Williams.
Enrolling roughly 3,800 undergraduates and 850 graduate students, the school features over 40 liberal arts majors and five professional schools.
As the Roger Williams Hawks, student-athletes participate in the Commonwealth Coast Conference and NCAA's Division III. Sports include soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, and sailing.
