Roger Williams National Memorial
See one of the premier historical attractions in New Hampshire. The Roger Williams National Memorial is located in downtown Providence near Warwick and acts as the gateway to the legend of Roger Williams, who founded Providence in 1636 and was one of the early champions of freedom of religion in this country.
A landscaped urban park built on the original Providence settlement, the memorial includes interpretative sites, the historic John Brown house, the Benefit Street Mile of history, and the rest of the historic district of College Hill.
